Something Good This Way Comes: The Most Important Dress I'll Ever Wear

I had everything but the dress. It was time to officially become a bride.

Once we arrived at the venue after hair and makeup at the hotel, I stepped into this beauty:
I stepped into the dress, so as to not mess up the hair.  I paused for a moment and Mama Pencils took her place of honor: lacing up duty.
The lacing up took quite a while.  Mama P worked from the top down, tightening as she went.
Mama P's green fingernails were working hard and as quickly as possible.
I took in the view of me in my wedding gown.  It hit me: I was in my wedding dress, completing a look I'd planned for so long. I was about to marry my bestest friend.
I was so excited- it fit perfectly.  When you buy your dress over a year before your wedding, things can change.  It fit like a glove and I felt beautiful.  I had to raise the roof, fist pump style.  See above.
Did I mention I was excited? I was.
And before I knew it, I was in my gown, ready to put the finishing touches of jewelry and my somethings on before our first look.  I felt like the most beautiful version of myself- exactly how I'd hoped.
