Something Good This Way Comes: Holy Crap We're Married!

After we had composed ourselves from our vows and my Uncle Mark's ring presentation, we had to exchange rings.  We stood patiently, waiting for the final two caps on the ceremony.
Uncle John gave us a moment to take it in again...
And then he said:
"Just as these rings have no point of weakness, may your union be strong- and may you be blessed as you journey through life together- encircled by your love."
He instructed Mr. Pencils to take my ring and place it on my finger, while saying:
"This ring is my promise to honor you, to be faithful to you, and to share my love and my life with you in every way, always."
"With this ring, I thee wed."

Then it was my turn.
I repeated the same words to Mr. Pencils
And uttered the words I had imagined in my mind many, many times:
"With this ring, I thee wed."

And then, somehow, it was official.  Reverend-Uncle Jon gave us the Final Blessing, an old Apache Blessing:
"Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold for each of you will be warmth for the other.
Now there will be no loneliness for each of you will be companion for the other.
Now you are two persons but there is one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place to enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth."
He pronounced us husband and wife...and we kissed!

We were pretty dang excited...
And as we waited for our recessional music, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness, to begin...

...we soaked in the moment.
And then, as the strains of "I believe in a thing called love! Just listen to the rhthym of my heart..."
..."there's a chance we can make it now...we'll be rocking till the sun comes up!"
Our gorgeous, amazing friends followed us...
Yes, you may see above that our shortest bridesmaid was paired with our tallest groomsmen.  Shenanigans, but fun shenanigans!
The bridal party and immediate family joined us in the brides area for a champagne toast...
...and holy crap, we were married!
During the cocktail hour, while our guests enjoyed the scallops in bacon, cheese station and bar, we took to the hills...but more on that to come!
