Something Good This Way Comes: Last Minute Moments

Around 3:30 or so, the ladies were ready- our makeup was complete, hair was done, and the bridesmaids were all dressed, looking gorgeous.

The final moments as I left the hotel to get to our venue were harried, rushed, exciting, and surreal.  It was a mere three hours away from me becoming a wife, a married woman, a Mrs.  It was going too quickly and not fast enough.  I took a moment to take a deep breath and my photographers caught me.
I couldn't help but perform a little:

And then I was getting in the van, and my phone was ringing.  The florist was calling to see when I was picking up the bouquets. What?!?! My MIL had paid for a courier service- what happened?  I took a deep breath, told the florist someone would be there, called MIL Pencils and future FIL Pencils saved the day, driving back from the venue, to the florist, and back to the venue again.  In forty minutes. Amazing.  Thank you MIL and FIL!

The next photos I call "Ode to the Van." My parents rented a fifteen passenger white van to carry me, my girls, and wedding stuff around for the long weekend they were here.  It.was.amazing.

Soon, it would be time to put on the gown and get hitched!
