I didn't think through my engagement photo outfits very thoroughly (and though I liked the way they turned out, I wish I had worn something more "me") but you won't find me doing that for our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! Considering our laid back vibe for the dinner at a local restaurant that brews it's own beer, and the potential for heat/humidity/rain/who even knows what, I want to choose something that will work no matter the weather!
I jumped over to polyvore and scouted some promising options. I'm considering two different looks. The first is pretty traditional: a cream/white dress with some bright jewelry and shoes. I can always pair one of these with a bright pair of leggings and pashmina to stay warm. Here's what I found:
Items in this set:
Leila Dress, $190
Calvin Klein - Asymmetrical Dress (Cream) - Apparel, $148
Jin Ja Ruffle Front Dress, 48 GBP
Pioneer Dress-Mod Retro Indie Clothing & Vintage Clothes, $55
Rise cream bandeau dress, 40 GBP

Or, I'm considering a less traditional route with some dark jeans and a girly white top, with some sweet shoes. I love the versatility and casual aspect of these options:
I don't know about the heels in either case- I'm about three inches shorter than Topher, but I don't think I want to be the same height as him when we'll be standing in front of others, speaking and thanking them. I'm thinking the jeans option is much more "me" as this is my favorite ensemble on the weekends.
What are you thinking of wearing to your rehearsal or another wedding event?
