This is the reaction I get when I tell friends and family my chosen footwear for my wedding. I myself at times wonder if I would be happier choosing a beautiful pair of shoes like this:
I mean, how often does a girl get to splurge on girly, often shiny pair of heels? And yet, when I imagined myself on my wedding day, I realized I wanted to be me. Plain ole' Miss Pencils. I go for what's comfortable, cute, and simple. Which is why I plan on wearing these on my wedding day:
Yep, those are flippy floppies (I got my flippy floppies- you at Kinko's straight flippin copies! Anyone?). No matter the season, you can find me in a pair of flips flops or a simple pair of flats. I like feminine details and bright colors that I can use as a pop of color with a black ensemble.
I plan on making some sweet ribbon flowers to add to flip flops like these above, but that's about it. Maybe. Or I'll just rock them normal-like, as if it weren't my "special day."
